The Karekare Community across Zone B in Yobe state has pledged their loyalty and support to Alhaji Baba Malam Wali for governorship of the state in the 2027 general election.
Former state Chairman of the All Progressives Congress and leader of the delegation, Alh. Adamu Chilariye, said the representatives of the Karekare community from Nangere, Potiskum, Fune and Fika local government areas visited Malam Wali to reassure him of their loyalty.
Similarly, former state Deputy Governor, Alh. Aliyu Saleh Bagare, said “our message is short and simple “be rest assured of the support of the Karekare community, we will deliver you in 2027 insha Allah”
Responding, the state APC chairman, Alh. Mohammed Gadaka, thanked the community for expressing their support for the party’s choice.
“We are into this programme together, we will work together to succeed, we shall deliver all the party candidates in the forthcoming election” Gadaka assured.
Similarly, Alh. Baba Malam Wali, expressed his heartfelt appreciation to the community, assuring that the community would be carried along to be part of his administration after the election.
He also appreciated the sense of unity, and commitment to his aspiration and the party saying, it is a commitment to continuity of the progressive government of the Buni administration.
