Kaduna State pilgrims participating in the 2026 Hajj exercise have successfully arrived and settled in Mina, Saudi Arabia, as they prepare spiritually and physically for the forthcoming Day of Arafat, regarded as the peak of the Hajj pilgrimage.
A statement signed by the board public relations officer Ibrahim Datti said the pilgrims are in good condition and have settled peacefully in the tent city of Mina ahead of the important spiritual exercise.
Officials of the Kaduna State Pilgrims Welfare Agency have continued to supervise and coordinate activities to ensure the comfort, safety, and wellbeing of all pilgrims.
Medical personnel attached to the Kaduna State contingent are on ground in Mina attending to health-related concerns and providing necessary medical support to pilgrims. Welfare officers are also working tirelessly to offer guidance, support, and assistance whenever necessary.
In addition, members of the preaching committee have continued to educate and guide pilgrims on the proper ways of conducting a successful Hajj in accordance with Islamic teachings.
Enlightenment sessions are being organised regularly to ensure that pilgrims fully understand the significance of the Hajj rites and perform them correctly.
As part of the welfare arrangements, hygienic meals are being distributed to each and every pilgrim to ensure they remain healthy and comfortable throughout their stay in Mina and during the Hajj period.
The Day of Arafat, which follows the stay in Mina, is one of the most significant rites of Hajj, where millions of pilgrims gather on the plains of Arafat in devotion, prayer, and supplication to Almighty Allah.
