    The Chairman of Zaria Local Government Council, Engr. Jamil Ahmad Muhammad Jaga, has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of Alhaji Bala Nuhu Bamalli, who died on Wednesday, 10 June 2026, following a period of illness.

    The Condolence message was contained in a statement signed by the chief press secretary to the chairman Galadima Ishaq issued to newsmen.

    It said on behalf of the Government and people of Zaria Local Government Area, the Chairman extends his sincere condolences to His Royal Highness, the Emir of Zazzau, Amb. Ahmed Nuhu Bamalli, CFR, the Bamalli family, the Zazzau Emirate Council, and all associates of the deceased over this painful loss.

    Engr. Jaga described the late Alhaji Bala as a disciplined, humble, and respected public servant who served diligently in the Kaduna State Local Government Audits Department, where he contributed to strengthening accountability and public service delivery. He noted that the deceased lived a commendable life marked by integrity, service, and respect for humanity.

    The Chairman further stated that the loss is deeply felt across Zaria Local Government, particularly among those who knew him personally and professionally, adding that his passing leaves a significant void in the community.

    He prayed to Almighty Allah (SWT) to forgive the shortcomings of the deceased and grant him eternal rest in Al-Jannatul Firdaus, while also praying for strength and patience for his family and loved ones to bear the loss.

    He concluded with the reminder that, “Every soul shall taste death, and unto Allah is our final return.”
