The Kaduna State Pilgrims Welfare Agency has commenced the movement of Kaduna State pilgrims from their accommodation at Ibrahim Khalil Road Misfala in Makkah to King Abdulaziz International Airport, Jeddah, ahead of their return airlift to Nigeria, following the successful completion of the 2026 Hajj rites.
This was contained in a statement signed by the board public relations officer, Ibrahim Datti issued to newsmen.
It said the exercise is being coordinated by the Agency in collaboration with relevant Saudi authorities, the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON), and designated airline operators to ensure a smooth, orderly, and hitch-free return journey for all pilgrim
The Executive Chairman of the Agency, Malam Salihu S. Abubakar, reiterated that pilgrims would be airlifted back to Nigeria according to the same sequence in which they arrived in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
He urged all pilgrims to cooperate with officials, adhere strictly to the approved schedules, and remain patient and disciplined throughout the process.
He assured pilgrims that adequate arrangements have been put in place to guarantee their comfort, safety, and seamless transportation from Makkah to Jeddah and subsequently back to Kaduna.
The Kaduna State Pilgrims Welfare Agency appreciates the support and cooperation of all stakeholders and prays for Allah’s acceptance of the Hajj of all pilgrims and for their safe return to their families and communities.
