The Kaduna State Police Command wishes to inform members of the public that,sequel to the directives of the Inspector-General of Police,IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu,psc,NPM,the Command has commenced the immediate and strict enforcement against vehicles operating without registration of number plates, as well as vehicles with defaced,concealed,altered or covered number plates.
A statement signed by the command public relations officer DSP Mansir Hassan said all vehicle owners and operators within the State are advised to ensure that their vehicles are properly registered and fitted with valid registration of number plates.
Motorists are also advised to ensure that their registration numbers remain clearly visible and uncovered at all times.
According to the statement any vehicle found operating without registration plates or with plates that are defaced,concealed,altered or otherwise rendered illegible will be subjected to appropriate enforcement actions in accordance with the law.
The Kaduna State Police Command urges members of the public to comply with this directive in order to avoid unnecessary inconveniences and contributes to the collective efforts aimed at enhancing their security across the State.
