    FUE Zaria Partners Multimedia University of Kenya on Technology-Driven Learning

    The Vice-Chancellor of the Federal University of Education (FUE), Zaria, Prof. Yahaya Isa Bunkure, has held discussions with the Vice-Chancellor of Multimedia University of Kenya, Prof. Rosebella O. Maranga, on possible areas of partnership and collaboration between the two institutions.

    A statement signed by the media aide to the VC, Sani Lawal maqarphy said the meeting, which took place at the Office of the Vice-Chancellor, Multimedia University of Kenya, Nairobi, focused on strengthening cooperation in technology enhancement, innovation, digital learning, research, as well as staff and student development.

    Speaking during the meeting, Prof. Bunkure highlighted the importance of strategic partnerships in advancing the University’s vision of becoming a centre of excellence in teacher education, research, and technology-driven learning.

    He noted that collaboration with the Multimedia University of Kenya would provide opportunities for knowledge exchange, capacity building, and the adoption of global best practices.

    Prof. Maranga expressed her institution’s readiness to collaborate with FUE Zaria in areas of mutual interest, particularly in leveraging technology to enhance teaching, learning and research.

    The meeting was held on the sidelines of the 17th International Interdisciplinary Conference hosted by the Multimedia University of Kenya.

    Prof. Bunkure was accompanied by the Acting Registrar, Malam Shehu Iya Sa’idu; and the Director of the TETFund Centre of Excellence for Technology-Enhanced Teaching and Learning (TeCETEL), Prof. Ilesanmi Ajibola; Director of University Advancement.

    In the entourage also were Prof. Haruna Kabir Danja; Chairman of the Academic Staff Union, Comrade Sama’ila Ubale Alhaji; and Chairman of the Senior Staff Union, Comrade Abdullahi Ibrahim.
