    Gombe LG polls: APC Guber candidate commends improved process, voter turn-out

    Dr Jamil Isyaku Gwamna, the All Progressives Congress APC gubernatorial candidate in Gombe State has commended the improved electoral process in the ongoing local government elections in the state.

    This was contained in a statement signed by Ibrahim Sani shawai media aide to Dr Jamil Isyaku Gwamna APC gubernatorial candidate for Gombe state made available to newsmen.

    Gwamna who gave the commendation after casting his vote at his Jekadafari Ward expressed satisfaction with the massive turn out of voters, describing it as “a vote of confidence for the ruling APC government at the Federal and state levels”.

    He said that the council polls remained key to strengthening democracy and development at the grassroots while complementing the state government’s efforts.

    “I am pleased with the turn out of voters especially women and youths and the manner they are all conducting themselves peacefully.

    “This is a vote of confidence in the APC and a proof of the massive support that APC is enjoying in Gombe State which is a morale booster ahead of the 2027 general elections.”

    The APC Guber candidate lauded the efforts of election managers in the state for the “good job” and for the smooth conduct of the exercise.

    He appealed to the people of Gombe State to continue to support the state government in promoting peaceful coexistence ahead of the forthcoming elections.

    Dr Gwamna also applauded the administration of Governor Inuwa Yahaya for the creation of the 13 LCDAs, describing it as a bold and visionary step towards deepening grassroots governance, accelerating development and bringing government services closer to the people.
