    Kano State Pilgrims Welfare Board Reaffirms 25 September 2026 as Final Deadline for 2027 Hajj Registration

    The Director General of the Kano State Pilgrims Welfare Board, Alhaji Abubakar Ibrahim Matawalle, has reaffirmed that 25 September 2026 remains the final deadline for the payment of the Hajj deposit and registration for the 2027 Hajj. He emphasized that no intending pilgrim will be allocated a Hajj seat after the deadline.

    A statement signed by the board public relations officer Sulaiman Dederi said,Alhaji Matawalle made this known during a meeting with the 44 Local Government Hajj Centre Officers held at the Board’s Conference Hall.

    He recalled that the Board had earlier announced ₦8 million as the Hajj deposit for the 2027 pilgrimage and fixed 25 September 2026 as the closing date for registration.

    The Director General urged all intending pilgrims to complete their payments and registration before the deadline to secure their Hajj seats. He stressed that there will be no extension of the registration period and no additional allocation of Hajj seats after the closing date.

    Alhaji Matawalle reaffirmed the Board’s commitment to ensuring a smooth, transparent, and well-coordinated Hajj operation. He also encouraged all prospective pilgrims to take advantage of the registration period by complying with all the necessary requirements before the deadline.
