The Executive Chairman of Zaria Local Government, Engr. Jamil Ahmad Muhammad (Jaga), today joined other Local Government Chairmen from across Kaduna State at the July 2026 Joint Account Allocation Committee (JAAC) Technical Session, convened by the Kaduna State Ministry of Local Government Affairs.
A statement signed Abdullahi Abubakar lawal SA New Media to the chairman said the meeting, chaired by the Honourable Commissioner for Local Government Affairs, Hon. Sadiq Mamman Lagos, focused on promoting transparency, accountability, prudent financial management, and the effective distribution of Federation Account allocations to the 23 Local Government Councils in Kaduna State.
The session also brought together senior government officials and representatives of key agencies to deliberate on fiscal coordination, efficient resource allocation, and strategies to enhance service delivery and sustainable development at the grassroots level.
