Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, has welcomed his nomination as the Katsina State Coordinator of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

A statement signed by Ibrahim kaula Mohammad chief press secretary to the Governor said Governor Radda, who is also seeking re-election as Governor of Katsina State, assured the President and the APC leadership of his readiness to lead an energetic and inclusive campaign across the state.

He said his focus would be on mobilising party members, stakeholders, community leaders, youths, women and other supporters across Katsina’s 361 wards to build strong support for President Tinubu’s re-election.

The Governor expressed appreciation to President Tinubu and the national leadership of the APC for the confidence placed in him. He also commended the inclusion of other Katsina State indigenes in the Presidential Campaign Council, noting that the state has a proud record of producing people who distinguish themselves professionally and contribute meaningfully to important state and national assignments.

Governor Radda expressed confidence that the experience and commitment of Katsina members of the Campaign Council would add strength to the party’s efforts and help deliver the desired results for President Tinubu and the APC.

He therefore charged members of the Presidential Campaign Council from Katsina State, party leaders and APC stakeholders across the 361 wards to redouble their efforts and begin strengthening grassroots mobilisation ahead of the elections.

“We demonstrated our strength and commitment to the APC in 2023.

This is another opportunity for us to work even harder, remain united and mobilise our people for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. We are ready for the task, and Katsina State will play its full part in delivering victory for the President and our great party,” Governor Radda said.
