Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda has charged the leadership and members of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors to deploy their grassroots experience to secure a resounding victory for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and all APC candidates in the forthcoming general elections.
A statement signed by Ibrahim kaula Mohammad, chief press secretary to the Governor, said the Governor gave the charge on Thursday at a strategic meeting with the group held at the Amana House in Katsina.

The meeting was convened at the instance of the Governor to strengthen party structures ahead of the flag-off of campaigns.
Addressing the gathering, Governor Radda described the Renewed Hope Ambassadors as a formidable assembly of seasoned politicians who understand how elections are won at polling unit level.
“If you look at the composition of this gathering, you will see it is not a flash-in-the-pan meeting. You are sitting with people who have served as council chairmen, legislators and party leaders. You cannot dismiss their influence in their local governments. Now that campaigns have opened, it is time to show your competence, loyalty and strong connection with the people,” the Governor said.

Governor Radda reaffirmed that Katsina State remains the strongest base of the APC in Northern Nigeria and declared his administration’s total commitment to delivering massive votes for President Tinubu.
“On our part, whatever support we can offer to ensure victory for our candidates, especially Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu in Katsina State, we will do it. We must put aside personal grievances and focus on the success of the APC from the Presidency down to the State Assembly,” he stated.
The Governor noted that the performance of his administration has given every APC member in the state reason to campaign with pride.
Earlier in his welcome address, former Deputy Governor and the State Coordinator of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors, H.E. Tukur Ahmed Jikamshi, said the meeting was convened on Governor Radda’s instruction to re-energize the party structure.

He disclosed that Governor Radda is the only Governor in the country who donated vehicles to Local Government Coordinators of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors.
In his remarks, the Chief of Staff to the Governor and State Coordinator of the Renewed Hope Ward Development Programme, Hon. Abdulkadir Mamman Nasir, said the state has fully organized 361 Ward Development Ambassadors and 34 Local Government Ambassadors without duplication, with each having tangible achievements of the Radda administration to showcase in their wards.
