Kano State Governor, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, has felicitated the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Tajudeen Abbas, on the occasion of his 61st birthday.
In a statement signed by Sunusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, Director General, Media and Publicity Government House Kano said Governor Yusuf described Rt. Hon. Abbas is an experienced parliamentarian whose years of public service have contributed to the growth of Nigeria’s democratic institutions.

The Governor acknowledged the Speaker’s commitment to legislative responsibilities, particularly his role in promoting effective representation, good governance and national development.

Governor Yusuf said Rt. Hon. Abbas’ wealth of experience in education, public service and legislation continues to contribute to his leadership of the House of Representatives.
He prayed to Almighty Allah to grant the Speaker continued good health, wisdom and strength to serve the nation and humanity.
Governor Yusuf also wished Rt. Hon. Tajudeen Abbas more years of happiness, fulfilment and greater accomplishments in the service of Nigeria.
