GOC 8 DIVISION INSPECTS FRONT-LINE BASES IN ZAMFARA, BOOSTS TROOPS’ COMBAT READINESS

The the General Officer Commanding (GOC) 8 Division and Commander Sector 2, Operation FANSAN YAMMA, Major General Bemgba Koughna has concluded a comprehensive operational tour of forward operating bases in Zamfara State as part of ongoing strategic and operational adjustments to improve security in the State

The tour was designed to evaluate current tactical deployments, inspect defensive infrastructure and review the overall logistics readiness of front-line troops.

During the operational visits,the GOC interacted directly with the personnel, commending their resilience, dedication, and sacrifices in the ongoing campaign against terrorists and criminal networks. He charged the troops to continue to maintain an aggressive operational posture and sustain their momentum until total security is restored in the State

The GOC reaffirming the Division’s unwavering commitment to protecting lives and property, assured residents of the Divisions continued determination to protect lives and property as well as dismantle terrorists’ enclaves within the State.
