    KBSG Pays ₦63.65M For 67 Kebbi Indigines at Nigeria Law School

    Governor Nasir Idris of Kebbi State has approved the payment of ₦63.65 million as registration fees for 67 Kebbi indigenes undergoing legal training at the Nigerian Law School for the 2025/2026 academic session.

    In a statement by the state Commissioner for Justice and Attorney-General Professor Junaidu Bello Marshal, SAN, said each of the 67 beneficiaries will receive ₦950,000 to cover their registration fees, bringing the total amount approved by the Governor to ₦63,650,000.

    Professor Marshal said Governor Idris also approved the payment as part of his administration’s commitment to supporting Kebbi indigenes pursuing legal education and ensuring that financial constraints do not hinder their professional development.

    The Attorney-General expressed appreciation to Governor Idris for his continued support for Kebbi law students and the Ministry of Justice.

    The statement said that, the gesture would significantly ease the financial burden on the beneficiaries and enable them to focus on their studies and professional training.

    It would be recalled that the Kebbi State Government also paid tuition and registration fees for Kebbi indigenes attending the Nigerian Law School in 2024 and 2025 further demonstrating the administration’s sustained commitment to promoting legal education and developing the next generation of legal practitioners from the state
