The Executive Chairman of Zaria Local Government Council, Engr. Muhammad Jamil Ahmad Jaga, earlier today joined the Executive Governor of Kaduna State and leader, Sen. Uba Sani, CON, at a book presentation commemorating the 6th anniversary of the coronation of His Highness, Ambassador Ahmed Nuhu Bamalli, CFR, as the 19th Emir of Zazzau.






A statement signed by Galadima Ishaq Chief Press Secretary, Office of the Executive Chairman, Zaria Local Government Council said the event, held at the Malam Musa Hall, Emir’s Palace, Zaria, brought together prominent personalities, including former Vice President, Arc. Mohammed Namadi Sambo; former Kaduna State Governor, H.E. Mukhtar Ramalan Yero; His Eminence, the Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Muhammad Sa’ad Abubakar; first- and second-class emirs; and other distinguished guests.
Chairman Jaga felicitated with His Highness on the milestone and prayed for Allah to continue to grant the Emir wisdom, good health, strength and guidance in his service to the Zazzau Emirate and its people.
Later, the Chairman received members of the Iyan Zazzau Solar Installation Support Group, who visited in connection with their solar installation initiative. He was honoured with an Award of Excellence by the group in recognition of his support and also on behalf of the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Abbas Tajudeen, GCON.
The Chairman noted that the recognition was particularly meaningful because of the impact of the initiative, through which young Nigerians were trained by the Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB) in solar installation and maintenance and supported with start-up kits and capital to begin their journey towards self-reliance.

He further highlighted that, through the facilitation of the Speaker, 50 of the trained young people have secured employment and already resumed duty, describing the development as a clear demonstration of how skills acquisition, empowerment and access to opportunities can create meaningful change in the lives of young people.
Chairman Jaga later attended the naming ceremony of his brother and friend, Ahmad Lawal Bawa, who was blessed with a baby boy. The child was named Abbas, after the Speaker, Rt. Hon. Abbas Tajudeen, GCON.
He prayed for the child to be blessed with a long, healthy and prosperous life, and for Allah to grant him good character, wisdom and the capacity to make a positive impact worthy of the name he carries.

The day’s engagements reflected Chairman Jaga’s continued commitment to supporting traditional institutions, youth empowerment, skills development and initiatives that promote meaningful opportunities for the people of Zaria Local Government.
