The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Dr. Abbas Tajudeen, has called on communities to imbibe the culture of protecting projects executed in their areas.

Dr. Abbas Tajudeen made the call during the groundbreaking of some projects in Makarfi Local Government Area of Kaduna State.

He urged community members, individuals and non-governmental organizations to be vigilant and report any sign of shoddy work in an orderly manner.

The Speaker explained that six local government areas in Zone One would benefit from over 80 projects.

According to him, the projects cover health, roads, education and human development.

In Makarfi Local Government Area, the Speaker flagged off the construction of a modern primary school Tashan yari and students’ hostels at the Shehu Idris College of Health Sciences and Technology Makarfi among others
