* No Rancour, Clashes, Injuries or Loss of Property Recorded
The Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Katsina State, Dr. Bishir Gambo Saulawa, has thanked Governor Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, party stakeholders, security agencies, and the people of Katsina State for the successful and peaceful conduct of the Tinubu/Dikko 2027 Campaign Flag-Off at the Funtua Township Stadium.
In a statement signed by Alhaji Shamsu Sule Funtua ,Public Relations Officer All Progressives Congress (APC) Katsina State,Dr. Saulawa commended Governor Radda’s leadership and the collective efforts of party leaders, elected representatives, political appointees, local government officials, and supporters in ensuring the success of the event.
“I sincerely thank Governor Dikko Umaru Radda for his leadership and support, alongside our party leaders and stakeholders, whose cooperation contributed to the success of the campaign flag-off,” he said.
The chairman expressed satisfaction that the event recorded no reported rancour, clashes, injuries, or loss of property, attributing the peaceful atmosphere to the discipline and cooperation of participants.
“I commend our party members, supporters, security agencies, and all stakeholders for their orderly conduct and commitment to ensuring a peaceful event,” he said.
He also appreciated the people of Funtua Zone and other residents of the state for their impressive participation in the campaign flag-off ahead of the 2027 general elections.
“The turnout of the people, particularly in Funtua Zone, demonstrates their engagement with our party’s activities. I thank everyone who contributed to making the event successful,” he added.
Dr. Saulawa called on APC members and supporters across the state’s 34 local government areas and 361 wards to sustain grassroots mobilisation, strengthen party structures, and remain united throughout the campaign.

“I urge our members, youth and women’s groups, community mobilisers, and other stakeholders to maintain unity, promote peaceful political participation, and engage responsibly with the people in their communities,” he said.
The chairman reiterated the party’s appreciation to Governor Radda and all stakeholders, urging them to sustain the spirit of cooperation and peaceful conduct in subsequent campaign activities across the state.
