2027 WILL NOT BE WON BY THE LOUDEST VOICE — BUT BY THE STRONGEST RECORD…Speaker Abbas

The Speaker of the Federal House of Representatives Rt Hon Dr Tajudeen Abbas has reiterated that in politics, promises are cheap. Rhetoric is easy. A new slogan, a new colour and a new logo do not make a new politician.

The Speaker reiterated this at Kaduna As at the graduation ceremony of 4050 youths who have undergone various skills training at the Balarabe Musa Skill Acquisition Centre.

According to him,as we approach 2027, Nigerians must look beyond the noise and ask the most important questions: What have you done? What did you inherit? What did you spend? What did you build? And whose lives did you improve?

Dr Tajudeen Abbas explained that some of those presenting themselves today as the alternative have held public office before.,their records are not hidden. Nigerians saw what they did when they had the authority to act.

The Speaker added that so, when they come with new stories and fresh promises, listen to what they say — but look closely at what they have done.

He said that “public office is not a magic show. Leadership is ultimately measured by results”.

He expressed happiness that today, in Kaduna, 4,050 young men and women graduated from the Balarabe Musa Institute equipped with recognised qualifications, practical skills and the confidence to build better lives.

“These are not promises for tomorrow or figures buried in a budget. These are lives being transformed today” he said.

Dr Tajudeen Abbas maintained that that is what public investment should look like: turning population into productivity, potential into proficiency and ambition into achievement.

He re-emphasize that, “A change of costume does not create a change of character.”

The people have every right to demand evidence. Ask what they built. Ask whom they trained. Ask which lives they improved.

From Zaria to Zangon Kataf, Birnin Gwari to Jaba, Kafanchan to Kudan, let the message be clear: we must protect and sustain the progress we can see.

Nigeria is moving forward under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the APC. Kaduna is moving forward under Governor Uba Sani and the APC.

We must not abandon the journey when the destination is already in sight.

A farmer who abandons the field at harvest time leaves the reward of his labour for others.

    2027 is a choice

“Judge every candidate by character. Examine the record. Demand results.  And let the evidence speak” he added
