The Executive Chairman of Zaria Local Government, Engr.Jamil Ahmad Muhammad (Jaga), has congratulated the Governor of Kaduna State, Senator Uba Sani, on the occasion of his third anniversary in office, describing his administration as one that has redefined governance through inclusiveness, compassion, infrastructural development, economic revitalisation, and sustainable peace.

In a congratulatory message issued, Engr. Jaga said Governor Uba Sani’s three years in office have been marked by remarkable achievements that have positively impacted the lives of millions of Kaduna State residents across both urban and rural communities.

According to the Chairman, the Governor’s commitment to people-centred governance has resulted in unprecedented progress in critical sectors such as healthcare, education, agriculture, infrastructure, security, youth empowerment, investment promotion, and social welfare.

He particularly commended the administration’s historic achievement of upgrading all 255 Primary Healthcare Centres in Kaduna State to Level II status, making Kaduna the first state in Nigeria to attain such a milestone. He also praised the completion and commissioning of the 300-bed Specialist Hospital, a project that had remained abandoned for over sixteen years.

Engr. Jaga further noted that Governor Uba Sani’s massive investment in agriculture has empowered hundreds of thousands of farmers through the distribution of fertilisers and subsidised agricultural inputs, while positioning Kaduna State as a leading agricultural hub through initiatives such as the Special Agro-Industrial Processing Zone (SAPZ).

The Chairman also applauded the administration’s extensive road construction programme, which has seen over 150 road projects executed across the state’s 23 local government areas, improving connectivity, stimulating economic activities, and opening up rural communities for development.

He described the Governor’s interventions in the education sector, including the construction and renovation of classrooms, establishment of new secondary schools, reduction of tuition fees in state-owned tertiary institutions, and efforts to reduce the number of out-of-school children, as evidence of a government genuinely committed to human capital development.

Engr. Jaga further praised the Kaduna Peace Model introduced by the Governor, noting that the initiative has significantly improved security, restored peace in previously troubled communities, facilitated the reopening of schools and healthcare facilities, and enabled farmers to return safely to their farms.

The Chairman also acknowledged the administration’s economic reforms, which have attracted billions of dollars in investments into Kaduna State, improved the ease of doing business ranking, expanded internally generated revenue, and introduced social intervention programmes aimed at cushioning the effects of economic hardship on citizens.

“Your Excellency’s leadership has demonstrated that governance is most meaningful when it directly improves the lives of the people. The visible transformation being witnessed across Kaduna State today is a testament to your vision, commitment, and dedication to public service,” Engr. Jaga stated.

While congratulating Governor Uba Sani on the milestone, the Chairman prayed for Almighty Allah to grant him continued wisdom, strength, good health, and greater success as he continues to lead Kaduna State towards greater prosperity, peace, and development.
