Katsina State Governor and Chairman of the Northwest Governors’ Forum, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, has congratulated the Governor of Lagos State, Mr Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, on the occasion of his 61st birthday anniversary.

Governor Radda in his birthday message described Sanwo-Olu as a focused and visionary leader whose work continues to strengthen Lagos as Nigeria’s commercial nerve centre and one of Africa’s leading economic hubs.

Governor Radda said Governor Sanwo-Olu has shown remarkable commitment to the growth and development of Lagos State through bold leadership, steady governance and people-oriented policies that continue to improve infrastructure, transportation, housing, security, public service delivery and the overall business environment in the state.

He noted that under Governor Sanwo-Olu’s leadership, Lagos has continued to build on its long-standing legacy as the economic heartbeat of Nigeria and a major driver of commerce, innovation, investment and opportunity on the African continent.

Governor Radda said the Lagos Governor has remained consistent in pursuing policies and projects that support economic expansion, urban development and social progress, while also responding to the growing needs of a fast-changing megacity.

“As he marks his 61st birthday, I join family, friends, associates, the government and people of Lagos State, and well-wishers across the country in celebrating Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu for a life of service, purpose and impactful leadership,” Governor Radda said.

He added that Governor Sanwo-Olu’s contribution to governance and national development remains worthy of commendation, especially his efforts in sustaining the strategic importance of Lagos as a centre of business, enterprise and growth.

Governor Radda prayed for more strength, wisdom and good health for the Lagos Governor, and wished him many more years of meaningful service to Lagos State and Nigeria.
