    Niger State governor, farmer Mohammed Umaru Bago has paid sallah homage on the Emir of Kontagora, Alhaji Muhammad Barau Muazu II at his palace.

    The farmer Governor wished the Emir well and appreciated him for his continued support to his administration and for his exemplary leadership qualities.

    Farmer Umaru Bago equally reaffirmed his determination in working closely with the Emir for the development of Kontagora Emirate.

    Meanwhile, during his visit to Kontagora, farmer Umaru Bago paid a condolence visit to the family of Maigari Godabe in Kontagora over the demise of one of their family members, Alhaji Surajo Noma.

    The farmer governor prayed that Almighty Allah forgives the deceased and grants him entry into aljannat Firdausi.

    Farmer Umaru encouraged the family to remain strong in faith, remain patient and continue to pray for the deceased at all times.

    Similarly, the Farmer Governor also extended heartfelt condolences to the family of Late Alhaji Muhammadu Bawa Rijau over the loss of Hajiya Fatima Bawa Rijau.

    Farmer Umaru Bago prayed that Almighty Allah forgives her shortcomings and showers mercy upon her soul, and grants her Aljannatul Firdaus.

    The farmer governor upon his arrival in Kontagora received a rousing welcome from residents who trooped out in large numbers to cheer the farmer governor.
