. Jamil Isyaku Gwamna, the All Progressives Congress (APC) gubernatorial candidate in Gombe State, has expressed deep sadness over the death of Hon. Yaya Bauchi Tongo, member of the House of Representatives representing Gombe/Kwami/Funakaye Federal Constituency.
In a condolence message through his media aide, Ibrahim Sani shawai, Gwamna described Tongo’s death as a profound loss not only to his immediate family but also to the state, particularly the good people of Gombe North.
He noted that the late lawmaker was deeply committed to his people and worked tirelessly to represent them to the best of his ability, striving to meet the expectations of his constituents.
According to Gwamna, Hon. Yaya Bauchi will be greatly missed for his exceptional relationship with the people, which enabled him to connect strongly with the grassroots.
“I wish to express my heartfelt sympathy to the entire family of Yaya Bauchi, as well as the people of Gombe State.
“I pray to Almighty Allah to forgive his shortcomings and grant him Al-Jannatul Firdaus,” he said.
The APC governorship candidate further urged the people to remain united and continue to work towards the collective interest and development of their communities.
