    HQ NAAC HONOURS 6 POSTED-OUT OFFICERS, CHARGE THEM TO UPHOLD CORPS VALUES

    The Headquarters Nigerian Army Armoured Corps, (HQ NAAC), held a send-forth ceremony for six staff officers posted out of the Headquarters. The event took place at the Commander’s Conference Room, Obienu Barracks, Bauchi State and was presided over by the Commander Armoured Corps, Major General Umar Abubakar, with other staff officers in attendance.

    A statement signed by Major AA Adekunle, acting assistant director army public relations, headquarters Nigerian army armoured Corps said the officers honoured were Lieutenant Colonel Ahmed Danfulani, Major Benjamin Aboki, Major Ahmed Umar, Captain Teslim Adeyemo, Captain Joel Izang and Lieutenant Malik Zamani.

    In his address, Major General Abubakar commended the officers for their dedication, commitment to the core values of the Nigerian Army and contributions to the operational effectiveness and growth of the Armoured Corps. He expressed appreciation for their loyalty, support and cooperation during their tour of duty at the Headquarters.

    The Commander charged the outgoing officers to sustain discipline and uphold the honour and traditions of the Corps as they assume new responsibilities in their respective units.

    Delivering vote of thanks on behalf of the posted-out officers, Lieutenant Colonel Ahmed Danfulani expressed gratitude to the Commander and staff officers for their guidance and the confidence reposed in them. He appreciated the Commander’s exemplary leadership and mentorship, which he said empowered them to serve effectively.

    The highlight of the ceremony was the presentation of souvenirs by the Commander, followed by group photographs.
