Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, has commiserated with the Executive Chairman of the Katsina State Internal Revenue Service (KTIRS), Alhaji Muhammad Isyaku, over the passing of his beloved stepmother, Hajiya Fatima Muhammed.
A statement signed by Ibrahim kaula Mohammad, chief press secretary to the Governor said, Hajiya Fatima Muhammed, a native of Funtua, was born in 1921 and passed away on 30th July, 2026, at the age of 105.
Governor Radda described the loss as a painful one and prayed that Almighty Allah comfort the bereaved family during this difficult time.
He said the deceased lived a life of faith, humility, service, and devotion to her family and community, leaving behind a legacy of good values, righteous upbringing, and exemplary character that will continue to inspire generations.
The Governor sympathised with the Executive Chairman, his family, and loved ones, urging them to take solace in her exemplary life, remarkable longevity, and enduring legacy.
“The loss of a beloved stepmother is a painful trial. We share in your grief and pray that Almighty Allah forgives her shortcomings, accepts her good deeds, and grants her the highest place in Aljannatul Firdaus. May He also grant the entire family the strength and patience to bear this irreparable loss,” the Governor said.
On behalf of the Government and people of Katsina State, Governor Radda extended his condolences to Alhaji Muhammad Isyaku, his family, and the management and staff of the Katsina State Internal Revenue Service (KTIRS).
He prayed to Almighty Allah to forgive the deceased’s shortcomings, grant her eternal rest in Aljannatul Firdaus, and continue to comfort the bereaved family
