Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, has expressed deep sorrow and extended his condolences to former Commissioner for Women Affairs, Hajiya Hadiza Abubakar Yar’adua, over the loss of her first son, Abubakar Usman Tuggar.
A statement signed by Ibrahim kaula Mohammad, chief press secretary to the Governor, said Abubakar Usman Tuggar, 18, passed away on Tuesday, 4th August, 2026, after a brief illness. A recent graduate of a secondary school in the United Kingdom, he was laid to rest at Gudu Cemetery, Abuja, following his Janazah prayer at the National Mosque.
Governor Radda described the death of the young Abubakar as a deeply painful loss, noting that the passing of a child is one of life’s greatest trials.
“The death of a promising young man at such a tender age is heartbreaking. While no words can truly ease the pain of losing a beloved child,” the Governor said
He prayed for Allah (SWT) to forgive the shortcomings of the deceased, admit him into Aljannatul Firdaus, and comfort Hajiya Hadiza Abubakar Yar’adua, the entire family, and all loved ones during this difficult period.
“On behalf of the Government and the good people of Katsina State, I extend our condolences to Hajiya Hadiza Abubakar Yar’adua and her family. May Almighty Allah (SWT) forgive the deceased, grant him Aljannatul Firdaus, and give the family the strength to bear this loss,” Governor Radda prayed.
