The Executive Governor of Niger State farmer Mohammed Umaru Bago showers encomium on Nigeria’s former military president, Gen. Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida, on his 85th birthday.
The Farmer Governor describes the celebrant as an elder statesman, visionary, patriotic, dogged, and exemplary leader.
He commends the bravery and charisma of Gen. Babangida in decision-making, especially during his leadership, which has helped in stabilising the country.
The Executive Governor maintains that under the leadership of the celebrant, policies were initiated that brought remarkable development that are still bearing good fruits.
He says the elder statesman has remained focused and consistent decades after his active service in providing wise counsel for the continuous development of the society.
Farmer Umaru Bago notes that the celebrant has become a shining light and ray of hope to younger generations.
He joins family and numerous well-wishers of Gen. Babangida in thanking Allah for his boundless blessings on him.
