    HON ZANNAN BUNGUDU COMMITS 12 MILLION MAIRA TO INSTALL 4.5 KVA SOLAR LIGHTING SYSTEM AT MARU SECOND JUMU’AT MOSQUE

    House of Reps Member for Bungudu/Maru Federal Constituency Hon. Dr. Abdulmalik Zubairu Zannan Bungudu has fulfilled his pledge for the installation of a solar lighting system at Maru town’s second Jumu’at Mosque.

    Recall that the lawmaker had last week observed Friday prayer in the mosque prior to his condolence visit to the family of late Mande Sarkin Gobir who died recently.

    A statement signed by Aminu Lawal Jekadan Bungudu Chief Image Maker to MHR Bungudu/Maru Federal Constituency said after the prayer, Hon. Zannah was requested to look into the possibility of providing a solar system of lighting to the newly constructed Jumu’at Mosque to complement the existing power plant generating system.

    Hon. Zannan Bungudu in a response to the request directed for the immediate commencement of the solar system project, giving one week ultimatum within which to complete the work.

    “On the request by the mosque committee to install solar lighting system in the mosque, I assure you that the project would be completed before next Friday Insha Allahu”, Zannan Bungudu responded.

    About 12 Million naira was spent on the project which was completed today Wednesday, two days to the ultimatum given by the Hon. Member.

    Equipment installed in the project included; 16 units of advanced bifacial panels, 4 Lithium batteries, advanced hybrid inverter and allied accessories.

    With this development, Maru town Second Jumu’at Mosque is enjoying 4.5 KVA Solar lighting system.
