The Kaduna State Government has announced the suspension of the sixty-sixth Independence day celebration, earlier scheduled to take place on the first of October.
In a statement by the Commissioner of Information and Culture, Ahmed Maiyaki says the suspension is with immediate effect.
The statement regrets any inconvenience the decision may have caused and appreciates the co-operation, understanding and support of the general public and all stakeholders.
