The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu, psc(+), NPM, today, 9th October 2026, paid a condolence visit to the Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal S.K. Aneke, over the tragic NAF 931 aircraft crash which claimed 25 lives.
A statement signed by CSP Ani Iniedu Force Public Relations, force headquarters Abuja said during the visit, the IGP conveyed the condolences of the Nigeria Police Force to the leadership, officers and men of the Nigerian Air Force, as well as the families of those who lost their lives in the incident.

He expressed the solidarity of the Force with the Nigerian Air Force and prayed for strength and comfort for the bereaved families and colleagues of the deceased.
The Nigeria Police Force remains in solidarity with the Nigerian Air Force at this difficult time and honours the service and sacrifice of those who lost their lives.
