The Acting Commander, Nigerian Army Women Command (NAWC), Colonel SM Ahmed, visited troops participating in the ongoing EXERCISE SHINING STAR 2026 at the 177 Guards Brigade Range, Keffi.
A statement signed by Major Nsima Essien,,Assistant Director Army Public Relations,,Nigerian Army Women Command, Giri, Abuja said the visit was aimed at assessing the progress of the exercise, interacting with personnel and gaining firsthand insight into the activities being conducted.

During the visit, the Ag Commander observed some of the ongoing training activities and encouraged personnel to remain disciplined, committed, and focused throughout the exercise.

Colonel SM Ahmed commended the personnel for their dedication and urged them to sustain the high level of professionalism and teamwork required for effective military operations. He further emphasized the importance of continuous training and preparedness in enhancing operational effectiveness.
The visit ended with an interaction with personnel and a tour of the exercise activities at the range.
