The Zamfara State Police Command has deployed massively across the State to ensure a peaceful and hitch-free Easter celebration.
A statement signed by the command public relations officer DSP Yazid Abubakar said security operatives have been strategically stationed at churches, event centres, highways, and other public places, while patrol and tactical teams have been mobilised for enhanced surveillance and rapid response.
The Commissioner of Police, CP Ahmad Muhammad Bello psc+, mnips, has directed all Area Commanders, DPOs, and Tactical Commanders to intensify visibility policing, sustain intelligence-led operations, and remain on high alert throughout the period.
Residents are urged to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities to the nearest police station. Parents and guardians are also advised to monitor their children during the festivities.
The Command reaffirms its commitment to the protection of lives and property and wishes all Christian faithful a peaceful and safe Easter celebration.
