“we are public servants not public Bosses”
The Commissioner of Police, Zamfara State Command, CP Ahmad Muhammad Bello, psc+, mnips, has held a strategic meeting with Area Commanders, Divisional Police Officers (DPOs), and Heads of Departments (HODs) aimed at strengthening operational effectiveness, efficiency, and improving service delivery across the Command.
This was contained in a statement signed by the command public relations officer DSP Yazid Abubakar issued to newsmen.
It said during the meeting, the Commissioner emphasized the importance of professionalism, discipline, gender sensitivity and commitment to duty. He reminded officers that the Police are servants of the public and not the other way round, stressing the need for humility, respect for human rights, dedication and determination in the discharge of their responsibilities.
CP Bello charged all officers to intensify efforts in ensuring the protection of lives and property, while fostering public trust and building public confidence through community-based policing strategies.
The meeting further highlighted the need for improved collaboration, timely intelligence sharing to appropriate bodies, and proactive policing to address security challenges within the State.
