A Renowned Trader Bussiness man in Danja Local Government,Alh Addau Ahmed Danja has called on the three tiers of government to look into the possibilities of subsidizing the price of fertilizer to enable farmers conduct their farming activities in this rainy season.
Alh Addau Ahmed who is also a large scale farmer expressed serious concerns over the rising price of fertiliser which is becoming unaffordable to rural and small scale farmers,
He said it is only through strategizing and introducing favourable policies for farmers to conduct their business with relative ease.
Alh Addau Ahmed pointed out that, although prices of grains have crashed woefully as a result of importation from abroad, relevant authorities should make sure that the price control system is effective for people to benefit,
He warned that if necessary measures are not taken to contain the fertilizer issue,many farmers may have the opportunity to go to the farm this year.
Alh Addau Ahmed also explained that coupled with lingering security challenges governments should do more to provide security for the protection of lives and properties for the general populacepopulace.
