The Acting Corps Commander Education, Brigadier General Yushau Dogara Ahmed, held his maiden meeting with field commanders of the Nigerian Army Education Corps (NAEC) at Command Secondary School Suleja, as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen military education and training across the Nigerian Army.
The meeting brought together Commandants of the Nigerian Army Institute of Science Education and Technology (NAISET) and the Nigerian Army Language Institute (NALI), alongside Directors, Provost, Rector and Commandants of Command Secondary Schools. The engagement focused on reviewing existing strategies and adopting innovative approaches to enhance the Corps’ contributions amid evolving security and educational demands.
In his address, Brigadier General Ahmed described the gathering as a strategic platform to address the growing complexity of military education. He emphasized the need to align training with the Chief of Army Staff’s command philosophy, to “Advance the transformation of the Nigerian Army into a more professional, adaptable, combat-ready and resilient force capable of decisively discharging its constitutional responsibilities within a joint and multi-agency environment”
