The Assistant Inspector-General of Police, Zone One Headquarters, Kano, *AIG Garba Ahmed,* has received the newly appointed Commandant of the Nigeria Police Academy, Wudil, Kano, *AIG Auwal Musa Muhammad,* on a courtesy visit to the Zone.

It said AIG Auwal expressed delight and deep honour at the opportunity to visit the Zone One Headquarters. He commended *AIG Garba Ahmed* for the remarkable transformation and renovation of the Zonal Headquarters, describing the achievement as one that would remain indelible in the history of Zone One and the Nigeria Police Force.
The Commandant stated that his visit was not merely for protocol, but also provided an opportunity to interact with officers and emphasise the need for professionalism, fairness, respect for citizens and the fear of God in the discharge of their duties.
In his remarks, *AIG Garba Ahmed* warmly welcomed the Commandant and congratulated him on what he described as a well-deserved appointment. He noted that the Nigeria Police Academy remains the pride of the Force, being the institution responsible for producing and moulding future police officers.
The AIG expressed confidence that *AIG Auwal Musa Muhammad* would make a significant impact during his tenure at the Academy, and appealed to the management and staff to accord him maximum cooperation and support.
He further assured the Commandant that the security of the Nigeria Police Academy remains a top priority of Zone One, pledging the Zone’s maximum support and cooperation towards the effective discharge of his responsibilities.
