From general understanding President Tinubu is the most prepared President who continues with his positive mission after coming to office.
His mission either understood or not the economic situation coupled with economic hardships is the main challenge of the administration but must be considered.
There must be changes or adjustments in case of misunderstanding of the implementation process by Nigerians that miss understanding every economic plan that affects their lives.
There is misunderstanding between the two. The government and its people are the impact of the economic planning and implementation. The government is claiming success while the people are claiming hunger and hardships.
The administration is very talented in the area of generating funds for the running of its programs since the withdrawal of fuel subsidy, reviewing taxation missions, currency fluctuations and other economic technicalities.
Let us refer to some available records to put things straight for the understanding of all.
“To fill 50 litres of a Corolla car during President Obasanjo’s regime cost ₦3,750, Yar’Adua’s was ₦3,250, Goodluck Jonathan’s ₦4,350, Buhari’s was ₦11,900. Now under the current President Tinubu’s regime, to fill 50 litres of a Corolla car is now ₦61,350 or more. This jumped the prices of all social services of the majority of Nigerians without a jump of their earnings.
Despite a tense global crisis that can compel some strategies, it is advisable to review some policies to march with realities in the area of citizen’s hardships. If Our respected President can plan achievements in 10yrs for example review can extend the period to 20yrs to softly move there is no hurry in this situation.
Economic plan and implementation must go with frequent look at conditions of lives of Nigerians there is no hurry in this situation.
This the jurisdiction of the National Assemblies to work hand in hand with the Executives to ensure positive correction for the citizenry.
As a result of the subsidy withdrawal all Government organs are fully benefiting from wonderful cash rewards from monthly federal grants, which gives the government the basis to refer Nigerians to their Governors knowing fully what they are collecting.
This misunderstanding is the role of our Governors in eradicating hunger that occurred as a result of implementation of economic changes. From our tradition they are only experts in project execution like roads construction and bridges.
As the election is approaching, opposition campaigns are relying on the hunger crisis in the country so it is advisable for the government to make some changes to improve the economic welfare of Nigerians.
The government of Bola Tinubu is lucky that this is the only area of great misunderstanding with Nigerians so effective changes are needed to squarely face the oppositions and wait for positive elections results from Nigerians.
