A Chieftain of the Congress (APC) who is also the Caucus Chairman of the Party in Dambatta local government area of Kano State, Arc Aminu Dabo has resigned from the ruling party with immediate effect.
In a letter dated October 7th, 2026, personally signed and addressed to the APC Chairman of Dambatta Gabas Ward, Arc Aminu Dabo affirmed that the decision was taken after careful consideration of his personal reasons and future endeavours.

A statement signed by Abdullahi Uthman media and Publicity aide said Arc Aminu Dabo, former Managing Director NPA, in a telephone chat this night from Abuja, confirmed that he has officially tendered his resignation as the party bonafide member and already submitted the letter to the appropriate party officials in Dambatta town for their actions.

“I remain grateful for the cordial relationship I enjoyed and appreciative of the experience gained during my time of service”.
Arc Aminu Dabo thanked the party leadership for the opportunity and confidence reposed in him to contribute to the development and progress of the party during his stay in the party, stating that, “I sincerely appreciate the support and opportunity l have received from the party leadership”, the letter concluded.
