Gombe State Governor, Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, CON, joined his counterparts from across the country at a meeting of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum (NGF) held in Abuja.
A statement signed by Ismailia Uba Mislli DG press affairs Gombe state government house said the meeting, chaired by the Chairman of the Forum and Governor of Kwara State, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, had in attendance, governors from the 36 states of the federation to deliberate on critical national issues affecting governance, economic development and intergovernmental collaboration.
Discussions at the meeting centred on strategies for strengthening subnational governance, improving service delivery, promoting economic growth and enhancing cooperation among states in addressing shared developmental challenges.
The meeting also comes ahead of the National Economic Council (NEC) meeting scheduled to hold on Thursday at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
