Following the conclusion of the screening of candidates for the three senatorial seats in Kaduna State, the leaders who led the election in each zone under the leadership of Dr. Ladan Salihu have confirmed the election of three persons as the ADC senatorial candidates in the state.
Addressing journalists and other senior members of the ADC at the City Den Hotel in Kaduna, the leaders who led the election in each senatorial constituency confirmed two incumbents as candidates.
Those confirmed include Senator Barrister Ibrahim Khalid Soba as the candidate in Zone One, Senator Lawal Adamu Usman, popularly known as Mr LA, as the candidate in Zone Two or Kaduna Central and Mr Godfrey Ali Gayya as the candidate senatorial seat in Zone Three or Kaduna South.
After the announcement of the results, Barrister Ibrahim Khalid Soba delivered a speech on behalf of the candidates, thanking them and praying that God would grant the ADC further victory in all elections.
The ADC candidate for the Kaduna State governorship election, Alhaji Isa Ashiru Kudan, delivered a short speech of thanks and praying for the ADC victory in all elections.
The Senators in Kaduna State won the election in a contested manner, as declared by the election officials.
