Bichi made the call while meeting with party members following the recent empowerment programme held in Bichi, expressing concern over statements made during the event which generated controversy, particularly on social media platforms.
He described the development as unfortunate, saying such statements could undermine party unity and stability, create unnecessary doubts and fuel confusion among members.

Bichi stressed that the position of the party should remain clear, saying members should work toward achieving “APC from top to bottom” by mobilising support for all APC candidates.
He cautioned party stakeholders, supporters and members to exercise restraint and avoid actions or utterances capable of creating division, stressing that individual interests should not be allowed to override the collective interest of the party.
“Sabotaging Sen. Barau or any other APC member is, in effect, working against the collective interest of our party and the success of all our candidates, including President Tinubu, the Kano State Governor and indeed everyone,” he said.
