The Bolawa community from Potiskum and Fika local government areas in Yobe state today visited the preferred governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Alh. Baba Malam Wali, to congratulate him over his selection to run for state governorship in 2027.
The leader of the delegation, Barrister Baba Dala SAN, said “the delegation is here to congratulate you and to assure you of our unflinching loyalty and support to your aspiration”.
He said although one of us aspired to fly the party’s flag, we are 100% with the selection of Baba Malam Wali, “we assure you that we are not with anyone who goes against the position of the state government and the party”.
“The entire Bolawa community will personally contribute to your success at every level of the elections” Barrister Dala said.
He also called on Malam Wali to carry the people on board before, during and after the election.
The Co- chairman of the delegation, Barrister Aliyu Shehu, said Baba Malam Wali possesses all the qualities required to succeed Gov. Buni.
“I want to assure you that we are not with any individual or group of persons who attempt to oppose the government and party position” Shehu said.
Alh. Mohammadu Gadaka, state chairman of the party, expressed appreciation over their support to the government and party in the state.
He urged the community to continue supporting the government and party for us to succeed in all the elections.
Responding, the preferred candidate expressed appreciation to the entire Bolawa community and their commitment to ensure the success of the party and its candidates.
He explained that as the longest Secretary to the state government, he knows the problem of every community across the state.
“We shall by the special grace of almighty Allah resolve the age long water problem in Fika to cushion the hardship of the community” Wali said.
