The Chairman of Zaria Local Government Council, Engr. Jamil Ahmad Muhammad (Jaga), has extended warm felicitations to His Royal Highness, Malam Ahmed Nuhu Bamalli, CFR, the 19th Emir of Zazzau, on the occasion of his 60th birthday celebration.

This was contained in a statement signed by the chief press secretary office of the chairman Galadima Ishaq issued to newsmen.

Engr. Jaga described the Emir as a distinguished royal father, a unifying figure, and a statesman of rare excellence whose life of service continues to inspire both traditional institutions and modern governance structures.

According to him, “His Royal Highness represents a perfect blend of deep-rooted Islamic scholarship, cultural heritage, and contemporary leadership insight. He has consistently demonstrated that tradition and modernity can coexist in harmony, guiding his people with wisdom, dignity, and balance.”

The Chairman further noted that the reign of the Emir has been characterized by deliberate efforts to promote peace, strengthen communal ties, and advance initiatives that uplift the wellbeing of his subjects across Zazzau Emirate and beyond.

He emphasized that in a time marked by social fragmentation and rising divisions, leadership such as that of the Emir remains invaluable. “When many voices divide, His Royal Highness chooses unity. When tension rises, he becomes a calming force and a bridge-builder for all,” he added.

Engr. Jaga prayed for continued wisdom, sound health, and a longer reign for the Emir, expressing confidence that his leadership will continue to bring progress, stability, and prosperity to the Emirate and the nation at large.

On behalf of the Zaria Local Government Council and its people, the Chairman congratulated the Emir and wished him many more impactful years in service to humanity.
