The Commander 23 Brigade, Brigadier General Amechi Agwu has charged the supporting commanders and staff officers of the Brigade on adding value to their various offices.
This was contained in a statement signed by Captain O O Abidoye acting assistant director army public relations,23 brigade Nigerian army made available to newsmen.
Brigadier General Agwu gave the charge during the inspection of the renovated projects at the Headquarters 23 Brigade Yola on Tuesday 9 June 2026.
He said the enhancement of the Nigerian Army facilities would create a conducive atmosphere for the personnel to discharge their constitutional duties.
The Commander 23 Brigade urged the officers to tow the line of committed maintenance of the Service property in their care in line with the Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Command Philosophy.
Brigadier General Agwu thanked the COAS for his support to the Brigade, promised a continuous use of the provided resources judiciously.
The projects are the installation of 15 KVA solar inverter, installation of solar street lights for the Headquarters, renovation and painting of the Headquarters office complex and upgrading of the access roads.
