    Communities along the Ikara – Saya-Saya – Pala – Gadas – Anchau Road have described the construction of the 57-kilometer road by the Governor Uba Sani administration as a great development.

    Our correspondent who visited the agrarian communities interviewed some residents.

    Malam Salisu Shuaibu, Head of Bunsura in Pala District*, described the construction of the road as an avenue for boosting socio-economic development and for the easy transportation of goods to nearby markets.

    Malam Salisu Shuaibu noted that before the construction of the road, his people faced many challenges, especially during the rainy season.

    Also, one of the residents, Malam Yakubu Idris*, expressed happiness over the construction of the road from Anchau – Falla – Gadas – Saya-Saya to Ikara.

    A resident from a neighboring community in Tudun Wada, Dankade, Kano State, Malam Awalu Salisu said the construction of the road has eased their transportation time from one hour to fifteen minutes.

    Malam Awalu Salisu extended a special congratulatory message to the Kaduna State Governor, Malam Uba Sani, for executing a project that has taken them out of the terrible condition of the road.

    Malam Ibrahim Sa,ad also from Tudun Wada, Dankade, Kano State, narrated that he spent more than ten years plying this road without reconstruction But now, the Uba Sani administration has left a legacy for the people of Kano and Ikara Local Government Area.

    The 57-kilometer road links seven agrarian communities It is a partnership between the Kaduna State Government and the World Bank under the Kaduna State Rural Access and Agricultural Marketing Project [KDRAMP], under the leadership of Engineer Zubairu Abubakar.
