CP Ahmad Muhammad Bello, psc+, mnips, today received members of Yar Katsinan Laka community under Bungudu Local Government Area on a courtesy visit to the Command Headquarters.
The delegation expressed appreciation to the Commissioner of Police, Zamfara Command for the noticeable improvement in the security situation within their community following his recent operational and confidence-building visit to the area.
A statement signed by the command public relations officer DSP Yazid Abubakar said they also commended the Command for the proactive security measures and operational strategies put in place to subdue the activities of bandits and other criminal elements threatening peace in the area.
The community leaders further acknowledged the commitment and sacrifices of the Police in restoring confidence among residents, which has encouraged people to continue their daily activities without fear.
In his response, CP Bello appreciated the community for their support, cooperation, and timely sharing of credible information with security agencies. He reiterated the Command’s commitment to sustaining the ongoing fight against banditry and all forms of criminality across the state.
The Commissioner of Police urged members of the public to continue collaborating with security agencies, assuring them that the Command will remain steadfast in ensuring the protection of lives and property throughout Zamfara state.
