    Directorate Holds Preparatory Meeting for Examination Officers Ahead of First Semester Examinations

    The Directorate of Examinations and Academic Records, in collaboration with the ICT Directorate and the Academic Office, held a meeting with Faculty and Departmental Examination Officers across the university as part of preparations for the forthcoming 2025/2026 First Semester Examinations.

    Speaking during the meeting, the Director of Examinations and Academic Records, Dr. Shuaibu Ayuba, called on participants to pay close attention to the presentations and discussions, stressing the importance of adequate preparation for the forthcoming examinations, while also urging them to acquaint themselves with the processes and procedures required for the smooth conduct of examinations and the timely processing of results.

    The Director of Information and Communication Technology, Dr. Ayotunde Fadele Alaba, who served as the resource person, provided a detailed practical demonstration of the university portal. Using a projector and other resources, he guided participants through the process of accessing the platform, computing students’ results, and efficiently uploading and managing examination records.

    Dr. Fadele also addressed participants’ questions and showcased best practices for ensuring accuracy and efficiency in result processing.

    Also present at the meeting was the Academic Secretary, Mallam Mohammed Ibrahim, who reiterated the importance of adherence to academic regulations and proper documentation in the examination process.

    The meeting exposed participants to the computation of students’ results and other relevant aspects of the university portal ahead of the scheduled workshop for examination officers forming part of the university’s drive to leveraging technology to enhance the management of examinations and academic records while ensuring a seamless and transparent examination process.
