The Special Adviser to the Katsina State Governor on Power & Energy, Dr. Hafiz Ibrahim Ahmed, yesterday paid condolence visits to bereaved families and checked on sick and elderly residents across Kankia Local Government Area.
The visits formed part of Dr. Hafiz’s continued engagement with members of the community, particularly at times when families are experiencing bereavement, illness or other difficult circumstances.
During the condolence visits, Dr. Hafiz conveyed his sympathies to the affected families and prayed for the peaceful repose of those who passed away, as well as strength and comfort for their relatives.
He also visited some sick and elderly members of the community to inquire about their wellbeing, offer words of encouragement and reassure them of continued care and concern from their community.
Speaking during the visits, Dr. Hafiz emphasised the importance of maintaining strong bonds with members of the community, noting that leadership and public service extend beyond official responsibilities to include compassion, solidarity and being present with people during moments of need.
The beneficiaries expressed appreciation for the visits, describing the gesture as a demonstration of genuine concern for the wellbeing of members of the community.
Dr. Hafiz reaffirmed his commitment to remaining accessible to the people of Kankia and to supporting initiatives that promote the welfare, dignity and development of the people.
