The Gombe state Gubernatorial candidate of the All Progressives Congress APC,Dr Jamil Isyaku Gwamna has dismissed a viral video trending in the social media portraying him supporting Atiku Abubakar . Speaking to newsmen,Dr Jamil Isyaku Gwamna described the incident as the handiwork of mischief makers who do not meant well for him and the APC.
He Said the video was recorded around 2019 while he was in PDP and he later re-signed from the PDP, joining APC in 2023 in which he served as coordinator Tinubu/ Shettima in Gombe State leading to the successful emaergnce of Tinubu/ shettima in all the election in Gombe.
According to him, people of the entire North East have no regret voting Tinubu/ Shettima into office,and have so far preformed creditably well in all aspects of human endeavours. He described the incident as bad politics aimed at tarnishing his image and political career.
Dr Jamil Isyaku Gwamna therefore reassures his supporters and party faithful that he remained a committed apc member and solicits for their continued support and cooperation in the task ahead.
The Gubernatorial candidate also used the opportunity to call for calm among party members So that these social media things do not distract them and stressed the need for them to come out enmass for the actualisation Tinubu) shettima ticket and all other candidates of the party in Gombe and the country as whole
