The Executive Chairman of Zaria Local Government Council, Engr. Jamil Ahmad Muhammad Jaga, on Wednesday, served as the Special Guest of Honour at the Community Engagement and Sensitisation Programme 2026, organised by the Kaduna State Schools Quality Assurance Authority (KSSQAA) under the leadership of its Director-General, Prof. Usman Abubakar Zaria.
A statement signed by Galadima Ishaq Chief Press Secretary Office of the Executive Chairman Zaria Local Government Council said the programme, themed “Strengthening Quality Education Through Stakeholder Engagement and Accountability,” brought together key stakeholders to deliberate on practical measures towards improving the quality of education and strengthening accountability across schools.
Speaking at the occasion, Chairman Jaga emphasised the importance of collective responsibility in building an education system capable of equipping children with the knowledge, skills and values required to succeed. He said, “Quality education cannot be achieved by the government alone; it requires the active participation of parents, teachers, school administrators, communities and other stakeholders.”
The Chairman expressed appreciation to the Executive Governor of Kaduna State, His Excellency Senator Uba Sani , for his continued commitment to improving education and strengthening institutions across the state.
He also commended the Director-General of KSSQAA, Prof. Usman Abubakar Zaria, and his team for their dedication to quality assurance, stakeholder engagement and accountability in the education sector.
Chairman Jaga reaffirmed the commitment of Zaria Local Government Council to supporting initiatives aimed at improving educational standards and creating better opportunities for children and future generations. He further stated, “An investment in quality education is an investment in the future of our communities.”
