The General Manager of Katsina State Radio has handed over motorcycles to three Correspondents covering Katsina, Daura and Funtua Zones.

The motorcycles were meant to ease movement and reduce the challenges faced by the Correspondents while conducting their reportorial assignments of the station.

Handing over the motorcycles at the premises of the Station, Malam Lawal Attahiru Bakori revealed that the station has benefited from the State Government vehicle repairs carried out across Ministries, Departments and Agencies in the state.

According to him, some of the grounded vehicles of the station have been repaired and are fully operational for smooth service delivery, reiterating the Station’s commitment towards providing a conducive working atmosphere to its staff.

He urged the beneficiaries to make judicious use of the motorcycles and remain focused and hardworking in carrying out their responsibilities.

Earlier, the Director News and Current Affairs of the Station, Malam Abdulkadir Abdullahi Saulawa represented by the Assistant Director, Malam Ibrahim Bello Majenwayya assured the Management of the Department’s determination of airing accurate and reliable information on Government policies and programmes.

Responding on behalf of the Zonal Correspondents, Malam Mu’awuyya Garba Funtua of Funtua Zone expressed appreciation to the Management and Staff of the station for the gesture and assured them of proper utilization of the motorcycles.
